We are proud to have represented HoneyCoin in connection with its seed financing round, led by Flourish Ventures and joined by Visa Ventures, TLcom Capital, Stellar Development Foundation, Lava, Musha Ventures, 4DX Ventures, and Antler.

HoneyCoin was founded in 2020 by David Nandwa - one of Africa's youngest fintech CEOs - out of a frustration that will resonate with anyone who has tried to move money across borders in emerging markets: it's slow, expensive, and often inaccessible to the people who need it most. HoneyCoin's answer is a full-stack payments orchestration platform that combines traditional fiat rails with stablecoins, enabling businesses to collect, convert, and settle funds across more than 45 countries - instantly, at a fraction of the cost of legacy alternatives.

The traction is remarkable. HoneyCoin now processes over $150 million in monthly transaction volume, serves more than 350 enterprise customers, and powers payments for millions of end users across four continents. The new capital will support continued product development, senior hiring, and licensing and compliance expansion as the company scales.

At Venturous Counsel, we're especially proud to support founders like David who are building financial infrastructure for communities that have historically been left out of the global economy. Congratulations to the HoneyCoin team.
